My Story: A Path of Health and Discovery
At 23, after years of intense gym training, I began experiencing constant back pain.
Overexertion and poor training technique led me to suffer from injuries that, at the time, I didn't know how to manage. It was then that I began researching manual therapies.
This quest led me to study and train in various therapeutic massage techniques, such as chiromassage, sports massage, posturology, among others. As I continued to learn more about the human body, I better understood not only the causes of my own pain, but also the way the body and mind are connected. This experience allowed me to alleviate my physical problems and gain a deeper understanding of how to treat and prevent injuries.
However, all this knowledge still didn't add up; I felt like I was missing something, and it wasn't until my 30s that I truly began to face a true health crisis.
After a period marked by extreme stress, overwork, and unhealthy lifestyle habits, my body began to deteriorate internally. I began to feel depressed and low on energy, experiencing repeated throat infections, skin problems, and excessive gas. However, it wasn't until years later that I was diagnosed with chronic gastritis with a stomach infection, accompanied by a long period of nausea, digestive discomfort, and continually experiencing physical pain so intense that it was almost impossible to move easily, despite putting into practice everything I had learned.
This stage of my life forced me to stop completely. It was a turning point, as I realized that something deeper was affecting my health. It was at that moment that I discovered Psychoneuroimmunology, a discipline that studies the interaction between the mind, the nervous system, and the immune system. This allowed me to see the direct connection between my emotional problems, my dysfunctional lifestyle habits, my poor and toxic diet, stress, and the physical disorders I was experiencing.
This discipline offered me a new perspective, and that's when everything began to make sense. Psychoneuroimmunology helped me understand how my daily thoughts, emotions, and behaviors were influencing my physical health. I learned to restore balance between my body and mind, and my well-being began to improve noticeably.
It was this personal experience that inspired me to delve even deeper into Psychoneuroimmunology and apply it in my professional practice to help others heal holistically.
Today, my mission is to use everything I've learned to accompany others in their own healing process. I understand what it means to go through health difficulties, and my experience has given me the necessary tools to guide those seeking to improve their physical and emotional well-being.
My approach is always holistic.helping each person find the balance they need to live a healthier, more fulfilling life.
